From the Director
Welcome to Cisco,
Thank you for taking a closer look at Cisco, Texas. On behalf of the Cisco Development Corporation, I invite you to see why our community is a smart choice for your next business location or expansion.
Location that works for you. Cisco sits at the crossroads of Interstate 20 and U.S. Highway 183, about 105 miles west of Fort Worth and 45 miles east of Abilene. That puts your business within easy reach of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and West Texas markets stretching to Midland/Odessa, without big-city costs or congestion.
Connected by air. Gregory M. Simmons Memorial Airport, just three miles from town, has a 6,536-foot concrete runway and instrument approaches. Business travelers, clients, and corporate aircraft can fly right to Cisco.
A workforce bigger than our population. Our city may be small, but Cisco employers draw from a labor force of more than 76,000 people across eight nearby counties. Cisco College is a key partner, offering customized training built around the skills your business needs.
A partner invested in your success. Cisco has a long record of offering competitive local incentives to new industry and supporting the employers already here. From your first site visit to opening day, our team will work with you and with city, county, and state partners to keep your project moving and solve problems quickly.
A place people want to live. Families choose Cisco for its excellent schools. Cisco ISD is known for strong academics, dedicated teachers, and the personal attention that comes with small class sizes. Residents enjoy affordable, small-town living and a strong sense of community, with Metroplex shopping, sports, and entertainment an easy drive away. That quality of life helps you attract and keep good employees.
From Conrad Hilton's first hotel in 1919 to helping lead America's fracking boom in the 2000s, Cisco has a history of rewarding people who see its potential. We think your business could be our next success story.
Please look through our community profile and available properties, then contact us. We would welcome the chance to host you in Cisco and talk about what we can build together.
Sincerely,
James R. King
